The pit-lane debrief app for karting

Find your next tenth, every stint.

KartInsightsPro turns each stint into a quick debrief for karting parents, drivers, coaches, and small teams: what happened, where time was lost, and what to try next.

Built for 2-stroke karting, test days, race weekends, and the data that usually gets lost between sessions.

How it works

  1. 1

    Log the stint

Add the setup, tags and a quick note after each run. That alone gets you a read.

  2. 2

    Add your data (optional)

Drop in telemetry and onboard video if you have them to sharpen the picture.

  3. 3

    Get the debrief

See what happened, where time was lost, and one concrete thing to try next.

  4. 4

    Try it next run

Take that change into the next stint, then compare against your best.

Built for the 10 minutes between runs

The kart comes in, the driver climbs out, and you have a few minutes before the next run. KartInsightsPro answers the questions that actually matter in that moment.

Was the stint good?

A plain read on the session, rated against your own history on this track and layout.

Where was time lost?

Per sector and per corner, so you know which part of the lap actually needs the work.

Did pace improve, flatten, or fall off?

See whether the driver built pace through the stint or started fading late.

What should you ask the driver?

The questions worth asking while it is still fresh, before the next run.

What should you try next?

One concrete thing to change on the kart or the line for the next stint out.

Whether you are tired, busy, new to the data, or working with a young driver — the read is the same, and it is ready when you are.

KartInsightsPro stint debrief: where time was lost and turn breakdown

Every stint becomes a debrief

Log a stint and KartInsightsPro reads it back to you like a paddock tuner: a plain verdict, where the time went, and a next step you can actually act on.

  • Reads the stint the moment you log it, with or without telemetry.
  • Rates the session against your own history on the same track and layout.
  • Shows where time was lost, sector by sector and corner by corner.
  • Turns the numbers into the questions worth asking the driver.
  • Commits to one concrete thing to try on the next stint.
  • Sharpens the recommendation when you add optional driver feedback.

KartInsightsPro event logbook

Your whole event, in one place

Every test day and race weekend becomes a logbook — stints, setups, weather, video and feedback, kept together and searchable long after the day ends.

  • Every stint from a test day or a race weekend, grouped by event.
  • Setup saved with each run: needle H/L, gearing, tyres and notes.
  • Weather captured for every session, automatically.
  • Telemetry, onboard video and feedback attached to the stint they belong to.
  • Best and ideal laps surfaced for each session.
  • Driver, kart and engine tracked across the whole event.
  • Searchable by track, date, event or setup.
  • Available from any phone, tablet or laptop.
KartInsightsPro synced video and telemetry

Telemetry when you need it, decisions when you don't

The depth is there when you want to dig in — but you never have to touch it to get a useful read.

  • Onboard video synced to your data — scrub the footage and the lap together.
  • Lap, sector and braking-zone turn analysis from your raw GPS trace.
  • Overlays and comparison against your best reference laps.
  • Per-lap and social-ready clip export, overlay burned in.

For parents, drivers, coaches, and small teams

Parents

See whether the day went well and what to work on next, without needing to read telemetry.

Drivers

Know exactly what to try next run, and back it up with your own data and video.

Coaches

Review a driver’s stints and share notes without needing the kart in front of you.

Small teams

Keep every driver, kart and setup organized across a full race weekend.

Simple enough for a parent at the track, structured enough for a coach or a small team.

Useful even when the data is incomplete

Works with whatever data you captured. More data sharpens the read, but you always get a best-effort answer and a next step — useful even when the driver doesn't have much to say.

Setup + notes

Basic debrief

Log the setup, tags and a quick note and still get a best-effort read and a next step.

+ Telemetry

Telemetry-only read

Add a data log and the read sharpens: where time was lost, how pace held up over the stint.

+ Driver feedback

Driver-feedback read

A quick note from the driver sharpens the recommendation and lets the app commit to a change.

Is there a free plan?

There's no free-forever tier, but your entire first race event is free — enough to see a real debrief on your own data before you pay.

What's the difference between the plans?

The tools are the same on every plan; you choose how many drivers you're running. Pro Team also adds priority support.

What counts as an "event"?

An event is one race or test outing that you group your stints under in KIP. Your first one is free.

What happens to my data if I don't subscribe?

We keep your lap times, setup notes and debriefs so you can pick up next season; only the large video files are removed.

Do I need special hardware?

No. Upload manually or sync from your logger with the free KIP Sync app.

Which loggers work?

MyChron, Alfano and UniGo. You can even start with just lap times and notes.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from your account settings.

  • Pro Team includes up to 6 drivers; additional drivers are $13/mo each ($130/yr).
