Account Information: When you register via the mobile app, we collect your name and email address. When you authenticate via Google OAuth on the website, we receive your name, email, and profile information from Google.

Telemetry Data: When you upload session files (.uni, .xrk, .csv) through the mobile app or Reddit bot, we receive and store the telemetry data contained in those files, including GPS coordinates, speed, acceleration, brake pressure, steering angle, and lap times.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics via Umami (a privacy-focused analytics platform) to understand how our website and services are used. This does not include personal identifiers.

Reddit Data: When the Reddit bot processes your post, we receive your Reddit username and the content of the post you interact with.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide telemetry analysis and AI coaching insights
• Store and display your session history in the mobile app
• Authenticate your access to the service
• Improve the accuracy and quality of our analysis
• Communicate with you about the service

3. Data Storage

Uploaded telemetry files are stored on secure cloud storage. Session data, analysis results, and account information are stored in our database. All data is stored in the United States.

The desktop application stores all data locally on your computer. No data is transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use features that require it.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI API — to generate AI coaching insights from your telemetry data
• Google OAuth — for website authentication
• Umami — for privacy-focused website analytics

When your telemetry data is sent to OpenAI for analysis, it is subject to OpenAI's data usage policies. We send only the processed telemetry statistics, not raw files.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only:

• With third-party services listed above, as necessary to provide the service
• If required by law or legal process
• To protect the rights and safety of our users or the public

6. Data Retention

We retain your telemetry data and analysis results for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure token-based authentication, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

KartInsightsPro is used by kart racers of all ages, including minors. If you are under 13, you must have a parent or guardian's consent to use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
